Library

We are pleased to offer a full program of library service to all citizens of the participating counties in order to meet their informational, educational, and recreational needs. Our services include:

• Free public library cards (PINES) - PINES cards can be used at 300 libraries throughout the state and users can check out items or place holds on times to be shipped to their local branch for use free of charge.  Up to 50 items at a time accessing millions of titles.  Library patrons may borrow material from any PINES Library.
• Free access to e-books and digital audiobooks through Overdrive using the Libby App.
• eRead Kids offers a free ebook and audio app for elementary age children.
• Free access to Learning Express Library with 770 practice tests, tutorials, and ebooks.
• Mango Languages with foreign language courses taught for 70 different languages.
• Free check out of a daily park pass to Ga State parks.
• Zoo Atlanta pass that provides free or reduced costs for visits.
• Check out a Chromebook for home use.
• Check out a Kindle for home use.
• Summer Reading programs with paid performers.
• Weekly Storytime for children.
• Monthly craft programs for kids, Bingo for adults, computer classes, and book clubs.
• Printing, faxes, copies, and free access to computers with high-speed Internet.
• Free access to GALILEO resource for students elementary through post graduate college.
