The Montgomery County Tax Commissioner serves as a tag and title agent for the Georgia’s Revenue Commissioner for the titling and registration of motor vehicles. The Tax Commissioner’s Office performs all functions related to billing, collecting, disbursing, accounting for ad valorem and property taxes collected within the county on behalf of the State of Georgia, Montgomery County Board of Commissioners and Montgomery County Board of Education.
